...This holiday season, be sure you know what you're buying and most especially: WHO YOU'RE BUYING IT FOR. Really, if not for a significant other, i.e. a boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife, you shouldn't be buying a fragrance for another. And, buying an s.o. a fragrance can be a relationship maker or breaker - it's a big deal, so take care with that.
That said, I like Beyoncé's RISE on ME, and I'm a man. It's fruity and floral, and girly, but very certain-time-of-the-month WOMANLY, as well. One smells like one's successfully covered up one's own hot, wrong pussy. Kind of. Be careful with this scent.
Donna Karan's CASHMERE MIST smells like an old woman, and WHITE DIAMONDS by the late Liz Taylor ("These have always brought me luck," as she UNCLIPS her earrings... Man), bug spray.
I've always adored Ralph Lauren's BLACK OPIUM, as well as TIARE by CHANTECAILLE ($$$) on my own pheremone signature, but those are also mature, feminine scents - they are for a self-possessed woman or a man with the right hormone mix and native scent.
UPDATE: Prada L'HOMME, Prada L'FEMME both lovely and $$$.
These are all the scents I've reviewed this holiday season. (And really, it's better to make fragrance buying a date night: take your lover or girlfriend out for a shopping event after coffee or a light dinner during the holidays, if possible - maybe they're visiting your mom and dad with you, and there's something to do locally...?)

Holiday Oddities
Item: Olivia Newton-John is one of Max Born's grandchildren... Let's Get Quantum Physical!
Item: It was lovely meeting that handsome, super-Christian dude who has strabismus at the store earlier this year (a less-than-random meeting, I do take it... Anyway...) - the one who mentioned "scratchers and Tahoe." Hope to again - I think he's one of those former foster kids from Century Ranch...? Best to him and his...
Item: Hanukkah (Dec. 13?) is coming up... Look for Leah T. in the lame, dreidl section of Toys 'R Us... (Lame because they've stopped carrying toy submachine guns. Opinions!)
---
As always, if you've got what it takes, you too can donate to the Gofundme, PayPal, or Venmo links to the right in the sidebar under "William R. Way".
Happy ChrismaHanuKwanzaa!

Last of the Xmas Shopping: Chico Mall!
Chico Mall is radical to the max, totally tubular: it has a JC Penney AND a Forever 21 (with, I swear to GOD, the ugliest shit I've ever seen on a department store rack - I may be 40 and too old, but I'm pretty sure I still know better... BLECH!) I am happy to see a Torrid, though (hold the Beth Lisick jokes, please!), and I was able to find lovely body oil for mom, socks for my brother, and Dick's Sporting Goods is always the tops for tennis shoes, throwing knives, et cetera...
But to start, we just had to eat at Red Lobster:

Shopping Day in Willows (ZIP 95988)
Can't go shopping on an empty stomach...
...So fish and chips at Black Bear Diner...
...Where, by the way, the Marine Corps Reserve has a Toys For Tots campaign - be sure to drop off new, unwrapped toys! (Willows Black Bear Diner, off the Interstate 5)
Then on to Walmart...
...All the boys/Think she's a spy/She's got/Bette Davis eyes...
...AY! But they've still got this often-not-good ground beef from their Clackamas, OR interest, Interstate Meat on sale... Now in bigger sizes than EVAR! (I highly recommend against buying it, btw...)
And here we are, checking out...
...And we drive past the fall almond orchards...
...Only to arrive home, glared at by ungrateful cats...
Ahhh, dinner!
If you're feeling generou$$, Gofundme, Paypal and Venmo links in the right sidebar under William R. Way...

Chico, Rolling Hills Casino, Walmart...
Last full day the Way family gets to spend together as a threesome until next month...
...Butte County (pop. 220,000 - *AHEM*, gay hookup sites and statistical likelihoods...), and the city of Chico!
Chico is home to Chico State University, Butte College (attended by none other in the past than Green Bay Packers QB and sexy NorCal goober Aaron Rodgers), cell phone towers (pictured), and...
...The Home Depot, where we went shopping for trees...
...And saw lots of flowers...
...And bricks...
...And more flowers...
...Even a bird of paradise! In October!
(Scenic Butte College, a junior college in the North State - colloquially known as Butt University, or Booty School.)
(Chico Refinery)
(Anna Karenina on the WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS, DAWG!)
(Orchards!)
(Yours truly getting close to the casino buffet, and the answer to the mystery of why our stomachs grumble.)
(Our driver, and contributor to the News Coulomb, Eric Way.)
I'm on a see-food diet: I see it, I eat it! (At Rolling Hills Casino, from which I've never been ejected - kicked out for winning!)
...And then, finally, Walmart (of course we're at Walmart - that's Deutsch cheese, yo!)

Ain't Fixin' To Be Nova Lee Nation Up In Here (I Said It Before...)
My relationship with Walmart has been rather harrowing to both parties, no doubt. But it's also been overall a keeper... So far. The corporate culture is still a little too cute for the power it wields (but I was born to a deeply disturbing, mental life, so I personally can handle much of the local gaffes.) And it's been astounding to see improvements in products, and sensitivity to shoppers' preferences. Of course, I must again urge no one to buy that meat out of their Clackamas subsidiary, and I wish they'd take it off the shelves...

Earls on Film:
I must say, 02053 has overall seemed to be from this consumer's vantage a success for the retailer - clean, usually well stocked, friendly and real staff...
I definitely think WALMEX has had an overall very positive influence on American Walmart behavior...
Go ahead, boycotters, put your dukes up - let's have a clean fight to the end!

No, Walmart has not threatened me, nor has it actually funded me with a reportable cash payment that would make sense of this post...

Colusa and Back...
The road to Maxwell, and to the Interstate 5
Good light...
Kittles! (Pretty much hunting season, ladies and gentlemen who do, btw...)
Love them jojo potatoes, "Eat our chicken, get gas!" at Jackpot...
We'n'de'ya'ho, cuz! And with our points, me and mom ate at the Colusa Casino buffet buffet (good Chinese food, btw...) for exactly $5 each!
Yeah? Whadareyougonnadoaboutit?
Back over the grade, or Lapse-o-wit-s's "Devil's Elbow..."
A face only the brave could love...
Yee-haw! They're about to close the lake for the season, y'all, so get your asses to Squaw Creek Inn. For whatever. Drinks, food, ice cream... You get the idea...
My portion of the haul from Griff's Feed & Seed (hoo-eee!) Mom got all her compost and paving bricks... I've got to split up bulbs soon...
Please note my Gofundme, Venmo, and Paypal links to the right, if you're feeling generous! Thanks!
